Buddy hadn't wanted to hear about 56 Croxley Street where terrible things had apparently happened. His head was already filled with enough fears and worries. Why had his mum left home? Was he different from other people? What was the mysterious job that his Teddy boy dad had found? Did the police know that he was a shoplifter?
